In Resorts World Las Vegas, you’ll find Co-Op Frosé & Eatery, a bright, welcoming shop offering frosé (frozen rosé), beer on draft, sandwiches, snacks and more. It’s an environment that general manager Chris Arthur thrives in.
Arthur, who grew up in Colorado and Hawaii, spent almost 16 years in a corporate environment honing his people skills before deciding to make a career switch to hospitality. Las Vegas seemed the perfect place for that switch.
After starting in his new industry as a server, Arthur moved to Main St. Provisions in downtown Las Vegas, where he eventually met the district manager for Co-Op Frosé, which was opening its first franchise in Las Vegas. Taking the general manager position at Co-Op Frosé & Eatery seemed a perfect way to marry his hospitality and retail expertise.
“I’m a very, very, social person. I love dealing with the public, so when they come in we always greet them with a smile. And we’re always really excited to introduce our new flavors,” Arthur says. Those flavors change out regularly, with options like the popular watermelon-cucumber and pomegranate-strawberry. There are more than 60 rotating flavors! He is also a liaison between Resorts World and the shop’s parent company, helping make sure Co-Op Frosé & Eatery has a presence at major events.
In his off hours, Arthur and his wife love exploring, dining at a new restaurant every week, and checking out small towns and the latest Vegas attractions. “That’s what we love to do. We like to find new things that are hidden in Vegas, because there are so many Easter eggs in Vegas.”
Libation: Pomegranate-Strawberry Frosé
While here, dive into sweet tasty frosés like the pomegranate-strawberry. All slushy frozen treats are 12 percent ABV, made with rosé, fresh syrup, cane sugar and fruit purées. The shop offers plus draft beer and interesting grab-and-go food and beverage items from around the world.
