“I serve drinks down here or 30,000 feet in the air,” says Tricia Marie Alorro. Meet the lead cocktail server at Easy’s Cocktail Lounge at Aria, who also happens to be a flight attendant for Alaska Airlines. “I can always find a way to connect and relate to people and make them feel comfortable, so serving is perfect for me,” says the San Francisco Bay Area native.

Alorro got her start serving people in the nightlife industry in her hometown. Almost six years ago she decided to bring that experience to Las Vegas. She spent some time at Light Nightclub and Daylight Beach Club, both at Mandalay Bay before she heard about Easy’s Cocktail Lounge opening at the beginning of this year. “When I walked in here for the soft opening, I knew I wanted to work here,” she says. “It was such a pretty space.”

The rest is history. She got hired by Easy’s and is now part of the speakeasy experience. “The live music, the craft cocktails are the best, the space is amazing, it’s a great date-night spot or to come with a party,” Alorro says. “People come to Las Vegas for an experience, and I want to sell them that experience.”

When Alorro is away from Easy’s, she’s also flying the friendly skies for pleasure, “I love to travel,” she says. “Thailand, Costa Rica, Hawaii, Mexico, those are some of my favorite places.”

She also loves being around people, she says; she’s a self-proclaimed people person—which makes her a perfect fit for her two jobs. “Up in the sky or down here, I want to provide excellent service for people.”

Libation: Shroomin'

Easy’s Cocktail Lounge has visually stunning cocktails. Under the Show Stopper category on the menu, a perfect example is the Shroomin’. It’s a mix of Botanist gin, matcha, lemon and honey served in mushroom glasses rimmed with dry-herbed sugar and then placed on a smoking moss-and-mushroom-filled wooden board.

Benefit: To enter Easy’s Cocktail Lounge, look for the velvet rope outside of Easy’s Donuts inside Proper Eats Food Hall.
