When was the last time you visited Las Vegas? Last year? Five years ago? Ten? Regardless of your answer, one thing is certain: This city has changed since you were last here. It’s ever-evolving, growing at a rapid rate with new restaurants, attractions, shows and, especially, buildings. And if you want proof of that, it’s time to take a ride on The Linq Promenade’s High Roller, one of the world’s tallest observation wheels, where you can see for yourself just how much the Strip has changed.

Climb aboard one of the pods (each one weighs 44,000 pounds and has a diameter of 23 feet) and get ready for a 30-minute journey highlighted by the city’s stunning visual landscape. In the nearly 12 years since High Roller was built, Resorts World Las Vegas was built, the Fontainebleau Las Vegas was finally completed, Sphere was added, and Allegiant Stadium and T-Mobile Arena were built.

For the visuals alone, High Roller is a must for any Vegas visitor, but that’s just the beginning of the fun this attraction has in store:

Families will enjoy the interactive part of High Roller. A video screen provides trivia and cool information, and, in addition you can get on your phone and download information about High Roller. (For instance, did you know that the entire wheel weighs more than three-and-a-half tons?)

Groups looking for a party atmosphere can take advantage of the Happy Half Hour, where your revolution is complete with a stocked bar from noon until 11:30 p.m.

You can get married on the High Roller! Your nuptials package comes with flowers and music, and the ceremony ends with you kissing your bride or groom as the rotation finishes.

Expecting and want to throw a gender-reveal party? Yep, you can do that on High Roller! Its gender reveal light show lights up High Roller’s 2,000 LED lights in your baby’s color for 15 minutes. This package also comes with a signature “Mommy Mocktail” from Sky Lounge Bar.

But Wait! There’s More!

The dining options on the The Linq Promenade feel limitless, from the huge beer list at Yardbird, the British fare at Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips and Coco Pebbles French Toast at Maxie’s to brick-oven pizzas at Flour & Barley, barbecue from Memphis, Kansas City, the Carolinas and Texas at Virgil’s Real Barbecue, and the Double Doubles at In-N-Out Burger.

Other attractions at The Linq Promenade include FLY LINQ Zipline, where you soar 1,100 feet from a 12-story tower to High Roller over the heads of your friends, family and total strangers at speed of up to 35 mph, and Minus5 Icebar, a sub-zero destination where you don a parka and enjoy drinks in glasses made of—what else?—ice.
