Now in its 15th year, the Latin Grammy Awards is close to becoming as venerable an institution as its parent organization, the Grammys. This is the seventh time the ceremony has been held in Vegas, a perfect home for the stars of Latin music to honor their peers.

The ceremony is hosted by Mexican actress Jacqueline Bracamontes alongside third-time host and Mexican actor Eugenio Derbez. Puerto Rican band Calle 13 leads the nominations with 10, including Record of the Year, Album of the Year and Song of the Year, for the genre-spanning album Multi Viral. As always, the Latin Grammys feature a mix of mainstream stars and niche artists as nominees, and popular artists up for awards this year include Enrique Iglesias, Marc Anthony and Carlos Santana.

Santana will be part of one of this year’s collaborative performances, teaming up with rapper Pitbull (singers Pepe Aguilar and Miguel Bosé will also take the stage together). Other performers include Ricky Martin, Jesse & Joy, Camila and many more, at the event producers call “the biggest night in Latin music.” Clearly they intend to live up to that claim.
